Orran Benevolent NGO marked International Children’s Day on June 1 for the 26th consecutive year at its center, continuing a long-standing tradition dedicated to children.

Orran Benevolent NGO marked International Children’s Day on June 1 for the 26th consecutive year at its center, continuing a long-standing tradition dedicated to children.

The Orran courtyard was transformed into a festive space filled with music, dance, and bright colors, creating a joyful atmosphere for children and guests throughout the day. The celebration also included hamburgers, prepared by the staff of Marriott Armenia Hotel as part of their annual support for the event.

Friends of Orran, supporters, and public figures joined the celebration. They helped prepare and serve food and actively participated in the day’s activities, reflecting a strong sense of community involvement.

Co-founder of Orran Benevolent NGO, Mrs. Armine Hovannisian, shared her wishes for children in Armenia:

“I wish for children to grow up in a world where every child goes to sleep full, wakes up safe, surrounded by love and care, and has the opportunity to dream and achieve their dreams. May their laughter always be louder than their fears, their curiosity overcome every obstacle, and their kindness help build a better future.”

The children’s choir of Orran performed songs and dances, adding to the festive mood. Cartoon characters, entertainers, and clowns were also present, creating a fun and relaxed environment for the children.

During the day, Orran welcomed many guests from Armenia and abroad. Visitors congratulated the children and took part in the celebration.

The event was supported by partner organizations. ”Tamara” provided ice cream, and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company offered soft drinks, helping to complete the children’s celebration.

The event ended with a shared message that protecting children’s rights and ensuring a safe and caring environment for them is a joint responsibility that requires continuous attention and commitment.
