Honoring the Friends Who Helped Build Orran’s Legacy

On July 27, the Parnagian family, on a privilege to celebrate their matriarch, Florence Parnagian’s birthday, visited Orran with their close friends and relatives. The occasion was also special because other long-time benefactors Harry and Alvard Barseghian had joined them to celebrate Alvard Barseghian’s birthday.
It was a very special day for our children and seniors to meet the people who have impacted their lives through their kindness and generosity since the day Orran was founded. We were also honored to welcome archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, whose presence made the occasion even more special.
Our guests were warmly welcomed with the traditional Armenian bread and salt ceremony, a symbol of hospitality, respect, and gratitude.
Our Senior Choir delighted the guests with beautiful songs, filling the room with warmth and emotion. The celebration continued with music, dancing, and joyful moments shared together.
Orran’s Children’s Choir also performed heartfelt songs, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
The visit was filled with meaningful conversations, delicious refreshments, and precious moments of connection. It was a beautiful reminder that Orran is not only a place of support, but also a place where lifelong friendships, hope, and community are built.
We are deeply grateful to our supporters for being part of the Orran family and for standing beside our children and elderly year after year.
