Empowering Girls Through Field Hockey in Armenia

Since 2000, the Charles and Agnes Kazarian Foundation has been supporting the development of women’s field hockey in Armenia.

Since 2000, the Charles and Agnes Kazarian Foundation has been supporting the development of women’s field hockey in Armenia. In the cities of Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and Hrazdan, more than 100 girls have the opportunity to train and develop their skills.

Many of these girls come from socially vulnerable backgrounds. The program provides a safe and supportive environment as well as a meaningful recreational activity that helps them stay engaged and away from the streets.

In addition to athletic skills, the girls develop essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, resilience and self-confidence, which are valuable both on and off the field.

Orran Benevolent NGO extends its deepest gratitude to the Charles and Agnes Kazarian Foundation for standing by this program and the sport for 25 years.
